Child Arrangements Support Services
Hello
If you are dealing with the end of a relationship, I understand that it can be an upsetting, worrying and confusing time. This concern is only heightened when there are children involved. You and your ex-partner/husband/wife are now moving into a different 'relationship', which is going to be more 'business-like' and focused on co-parenting. Communication and making arrangements can be challenging as feelings need to be managed and new 'rules' apply.
My service is based on kindness, empathy, practical solution finding and positivity. As a Divorce Coach I can help you a separation or divorce even if there are no concerns regarding children.
My Service
Aims to provide quality support and advice about agreeing child arrangements and navigating the family court system. I can help with resolving disputes at an early stage that are child centred, safe arrangements before having to apply for court orders. This can focus on the emotional and practical aspects of living with and spending time arrangements.
If you are in court proceedings I will mentor and guide you through, demystifying the court process and its professionals, such as Cafcass officers. I will seek to help resolve the proceedings as quickly as possible with safe and workable outcomes. I can also act as an 'expert witness' providing assessments to the court on co-parenting capacity, safety planning and recommending ways to progress arrangements.
Thirdly, after the court has made decisions and orders it often feels like there is no support or help. The child(ren) may need help understanding what has happened. There may be practical arrangements to sort out and communication or plans will still need to be worked on. Too many families return to court because orders are not followed and arrangements breakdown. I will provide the support to try to avoid this by helping to embed agreements and orders. This might include individual or joint sessions, or work with the child and other members of the family.
My service seeks to be personalised and bespoke, that is, tailored around your needs, with the safety and needs of the children at its heart. The service is underpinned by a 'restorative' and 'relational' approach bringing together a listening ear with practical 'advice' and support. I am in your corner with the welfare of children always paramount.
